DesignmatixDX-CAD

Refund policy

DX-CAD by Designmatix Ltd. Last updated 4 October 2026.

In short: if DX-CAD is not right for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of a payment, and you get your money back in full. No reason needed.

Who handles your order

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries about payments and handles returns and refunds. Paddle's own buyer terms also apply to your purchase.

Free before you pay

DX-CAD is free for any use until 23:59 UK time on 15 November 2026. After that, anyone can try every feature free for 30 days from first use, without a card. We hope you will know before you buy whether DX-CAD suits you.

Refunds we give

  • First purchase: a full refund if you ask within 14 days of the date you bought a DX-CAD licence or an add-on.
  • Renewal: a full refund of a renewal payment if you ask within 14 days of the date it was taken.
  • Seats added later: a full refund of the payment for seats you added, if you ask within 14 days of adding them. The rest of your licence is not affected.

You do not need to give a reason. After those periods we do not normally give refunds, except where the law requires it (see below) or where Paddle decides one is fair.

How to ask for a refund

  1. Find your order at paddle.net with the email address you bought with, and request a refund there; or
  2. email support@designmatix.co.uk with your order number (from your Paddle receipt) and we will pass it to Paddle.

Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with. Paddle usually processes them within a few days; your bank may take longer to show it.

What happens to your licence

When a refund is paid, the licence or add-on it was for stops working on your computers when they next check in. Your files are not affected: you can always open, view and export them, with or without a licence.

Stopping renewals

Licences renew yearly until you cancel. You can cancel at any time at paddle.net; your licence then keeps working until the end of the year you have paid for, and is not renewed. Paddle reminds you before each renewal.

Your legal rights

This policy adds to your legal rights and does not take any away. If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you rights if digital content is faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, including a repair, a replacement or a refund. Consumers in the UK and the European Union may also cancel a purchase within 14 days under consumer contract law; our 14-day refund covers this. Where the law gives you more than this policy, the law applies.
